Although, Smoothtalkinrascal was a non-runner this Sunday on 1000 Guineas day at Newmarket some of the two-years olds he raced against in his maiden at Newbury back in April were in action over the last couple of days.
Most notably, Sign Of The Zodiac (also sired by Kodiac), who came fourth in The Rascal's maiden and is Richard Hannon trained went on to win at Bath on Monday.
Richard Hannon's other horse, Dust Whirl, that came third to us also had an outing on Saturday and finished second in what was considered a competitive maiden at Doncaster. He will definitely be one to follow other the next few weeks.
